From the beginning this film talks about the caste discrimination in our society till date.

A movie starts with a Happy song singing by the villagers of Laalgaon, Uttar Pradesh. A new additional commissioner officer Ayan Ranjan (Ayushmann Khurrana) arrives to the town, on that same night three girls were missing from the village. The director shows other downside of India in a single drinking water scene.

The story of film moves by the murder of two teenage girls, being found dead outside the village and one more girl from same village is sill missing. In the movie end whether the new officer found the murderer, found the missing girl or not ?

Characterization of the new commissioner is an interesting one the guy who studied in Europe and did IPS for his father. When soon he came to know all the dark sides of our Unity in Diversity, he felt pathetic. Brahmadatt who was also a police man in village, plays a negative shade cop role very well.

This complete film talks about the underworld politics and dialogues which states about the Quota system, BSS movement, Fake devotees and article 15.

Fore more than a minute every police will have a happy talks about their caste and pride without thinking they are inside government office and they are government servants. None of the police will fell guilty for that conversation. 

This word "COOL" will play an big part in the film. Which Only used twice.

At the end of movie when every officer sit together & been eating their food, Ayan will ask an old lady "what is your caste mama" a loud lorry honking sound passes by, followed by everyone's laugh the movie ends.
